The Sahiwal Society allows the grading up of Sahiwals from any base breed

 Example  Hereford ,Shorthorn , Brahman etc 

  1. The first cross is Appendix C
  2. The second cross is Appendix D
  3. The third cross is Appendix E  (which is 7/8th Sahiwal)
  4. The fourth cross is 15/16th and is accepted as Pure Bred Sahiwal

          This pure bred animal can contain 1/16th of another breed
